Courtesy of Jim Ryan '58, we've gotten an early heads up on the availability of jewelry and mementos made from the copper removed from the chapel dome as it is being repaired and the copper replaced.
The jewelry is made by Herf Jones in partnership with the Alumni Association. There is a limited amount of the copper and I have no idea how far that amount will stretch -- recall that there are about 50,000 living alums, so it's doubtful that there's enough for everyone to purchase a piece of the dome.
You can view the jewelry and mementos here. If that doesn't work for some reason, here it is www.usnachapeldome.com.
I ordered a pair of cufflinks. It was as easy as ordering from other online stores. The only thing I noticed is that when I added my purchase to my shopping bag/shopping cart, it didn't show a number until I clicked on the icon.
